FAQ's

Q - How do I book my child onto a class?

A - All of our registration is done electronically. If you'd like to book a space, please send an email to southribblegymnastics@gmail.com and we can check if we have space and then send you a link to our online registration.

Q - What should my child wear for gymnastics?

A - Anything comfy is fine! We recommend shorts or leggings and a t-shirt for new starters. Leotards are great, but not compulsory. Please do not send your child in jeans, dresses or skirts, or tights. Socks will need to be removed once inside the gym.

Q - What should my child bring with them to gymnastics?

A - The only thing gymnasts need to bring with them is a drink. We do have space for coats and bags if required, but if possible we prefer them to be left with parents.
Q - Do you offer a trial before signing up?
A - We don't offer trials, apart from Intermediate & Advanced by invitation only, purely for assessment purposes. When booking a place, we require the first months fees up front. The annual membership fee can be paid after the first class to make sure the child likes it before committing.
Q - Can I stay and watch my child's class?
A - We don't allow parents into the gym for any of our classes, however we do invite parents to watch from the upstairs viewing gallery on designated 'Watching Weeks'. We find that children tend to settle into their classes better, and stay far more focused throughout, when they come in and work independently.
